Desperation

Why do I always get the feeling that I'm subconsciously writing poems I've heard before...?
I can't ever tell if it's just familiar to me because of all the times I've read my own work, or because it isn't mine. That's why I don't write songs anymore. I can't trust myself.

Anyway, this photo is self-explanitory, so I won't get into it. It was a mixed inspiration between my own thoughts about my relationship with God, some things I saw today during a ministry thing my youth group (and I) did, and the mood of the photo that just kind of brought them out. Desperation.


Okay, I don't want to get preachy on you, fellow Christians, but you know, you can help people so much just by smiling. A genuine smile is a better way to show Jesus to people than a cold sermon (not that sermons are bad, but the overly complicated, overly preachy ones can be).
No one understands a lot about God at first, but they understand what they see in the people who follow God; (My personal quote, "We may 'see' God, but the world sees us"). Just be a good example; don't complain when you do stuff, don't argue. Smile and let them know that you really care about helping them, or volunteering, or teaching, or anything you're doing.
And if you don't care, maybe you shouldn't be involved with a ministry.
